For as long as I can remember, I’ve been captivated by coloring, drawing, and lettering. My mom shares that even when I was a toddler, she could tote me along to any social occasion without concern. If she provided paper and something to write or color with, I was quietly happy the whole time. I was bewildered in first grade when my teacher scolded me for adding swirls and curlicues to my alphabet letters. I wondered why she couldn’t see that, clearly, they needed flourishes! I kept practicing anyway, and my love for beautiful lettering continues.
I work from my cozy sunlit studio at home in northern California. I love to read, bake cookies and cinnamon rolls, sketch house plans, and play with my golden retriever pup, but my most favorite pastime is to be with my family. My husband and I are blessed with three beautiful daughters, an awesome son-in-law, and we have a precious granddaughter! I hold a bachelor's degree in nursing, though I am grateful to be able to spend my time indulging my artistic side. I’m pleased to be able to share it with you.
